Take your dog’s skills to the next level with our unique Top Dogs Obedience and Parkour course covering more advanced obedience, agility equipment, and introducing you to dog parkour, where your dog learns to have fun getting up, on and over obstacles like tree trunks and smaller horse cross country jumps. This is a great course for learning new techniques to improve recall, agility and parkour, for having fun while bonding with your dog, improving all obedience, as well as socialising and learning in a group. The 8 session course is held at 6.45pm – 7.45pm on Tuesday evenings from April 28th to June 16th. Classes are 1 hour long and sessions held under cover at Solihull Riding Club, Dorridge (B93 8NB). Spaces are limited, so you get lots of personal advice and attention from a qualified behaviourist and dog trainer. We begin to take your dog off the lead while improving and advancing the core obedience exercises like recall, leave it, and drop it. This allows us to introduce new techniques such as the send away, and waits at a distance, which are crucial off-lead exercises for reducing your dog’s desire to go in any direction he or she wants. Having learnt to fly over jumps, through hoops, on a seesaw, through weaving poles and into a tunnel during Teen Pups, we add new fun equipment to go over and onto as well as re-doing these agility exercises. This course is only open to graduates of our Teen Pups course, so please book onto that first.Once you’ve completed Top Dogs you will be able to join us on a Top Dogs Out and About course, where we train and socialise in interesting life-like sessions in a different location each week. Type in DISCOUNT10 when paying to get £10 off the Top Dogs Course if you've been on our Teen Pups Course.Attend this course and get £10 off the follow-on Top Dogs Out and About course.
